Join Our Client's Machining Division as a Quality Inspector!
Are you detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality? Our client is looking for a Quality Inspector to join their Machining Division. Reporting directly to the Team Leader, you'll ensure that all parts meet customer requirements and rigorous industry standards. Bring your keen eye for detail, manual skills, and commitment to excellence to help them maintain their reputation for outstanding quality.
Position Details
Pay: £11.99 per hour, rising to £13.33 per hour after successful completion of training
Hours: Morning and afternoon shifts, rotating on a weekly basis.
Morning Shift: 6 am - 2 pm, Monday to Friday
Afternoon Shift: 2 pm - Midnight, Monday to ThursdayKey Responsibilities:
Inspect with Precision: Review parts against customer requirements and standards, identifying and addressing any issues promptly.
Documentation and Quality Control: Manage route cards and oversee material issuance to the shop floor, ensuring accuracy in every step.
Kanban Management: Maintain control of Kanban processes to support efficient workflow.
Ongoing Training: Regularly update skills and knowledge to stay at the forefront of quality standards.
Manual Handling: Handle components with care, ensuring quality through every phase.About You:
Attention to Detail: You must have excellent eyesight and be able to pass a company standard eyesight test, strong dexterity, and experience with inspection equipment, enabling you to spot imperfections and maintain high quality.
Quality-Minded: Previous experience in quality control or inspection is essential, as you'll be responsible for upholding rigorous standards.
Flexible and Hands-On: You adapt to work demands with a "can-do" attitude and are ready to lend a hand where needed.
Team Player: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills make you a natural fit for their collaborative, goal-oriented team.
