Job Title: Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teachers – Two Exciting Roles
Location: Mainstream Primary School, Watford WD19
Salary: Main or Upper Pay Scale + SEN Point
Start Date: April 2025 (Easter half term)
Contract: Full-time, Temp to Permanent
Role 1: Teacher of the SRP for Children with Communication and Interaction Difficulties
* As the teacher of our Specialist Resource Provision (SRP), you will work with children who have communication and interaction needs, delivering tailored, high-quality teaching in a supportive and nurturing environment.
* You’ll work closely with a team of professionals, including teaching assistants and speech therapists, to deliver individualized lessons that cater to each child’s unique learning needs.
Role 2: Lead Teacher for Transition Classes for Children with a Variety of Needs
* Step into a leadership role where you’ll guide and inspire two transition classes, helping students develop crucial skills as they progress through their learning journey.
* You’ll lead a team of educators and support staff, ensuring that every student receives the right support at the right time.
What We’re Looking For:
* A qualified teacher (QTS) with experience working with children with SEN.
* Passion for making a positive impact on students with diverse needs.
* Strong leadership skills (for the Lead Teacher role) and the ability to work as part of a team.
* Creative, adaptable, and able to engage children with different learning styles.
