Remit:

* This position will suit a skilled CNC Machinist with experience in programming and operating Hurco vertical machining centres

* Fantastic opportunity for a skilled CNC Machinist / Programmer to join an established technical team during an exciting period of sustained business growth

* The successful candidate will programme and operate CNC Milling machines to produce customer components accurately to drawings

Role:

* Programme and set CNC milling machines to manufacture components to customer specifications

* As CNC Machinist you will ensure produced parts conform to drawing and customer requirements

* Confidently decide on best methods and tooling to produce components

* Work to planned schedules to meet company and customer deadlines and requirements

Experience Requirements:

* Proficient in programming and operating Hurco vertical machining centres

* Competent with VISI/CAD CAM and/or Machining strategist programming software

* Recognised engineering apprenticeship or relevant on the job experience

* Ability to programme and operate Haas vertical machining centres (Desirable)

* Experience with setting and operating multi axis machining centres (Desirable)

* Experience with manual machine tools. Mill, Lathe, Surface grinders (Desirable

* Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise effectively

* Excellent communication skills – written and verbal

* Have excellent attention to detail

* Competent in the reading and interpreting of Engineering drawings

* Display excellent problem solving abilities

* Good general IT skills including Microsoft office

* Ability to build effective team relationships

* Ability to adapt to a changing work environment

* Self motivated with can do attitude
