Computer science teacher part time, January start

Zen Educate are currently looking for a part time teacher to take on computer science at a secondary school in Bristol starting in the new year. Whilst ideally this post would be working about 3 days a week, the school would also consider someone full time that could also do a bit of general cover on the side.

Marking and planning are required and this post is term time only on a fixed term contract.

This post is great for perhaps a teacher that has other commitments that they are trying to balance but want to still teach.

Requirements;

- UK QTS with specialism in computer science.

- Able to plan and deliver engaging lessons to students, as well as ones that all students can access no matter their attainment/learning level.

- Confident in the curriculum around computer science.

- Track student progress and report to department head, parents and other SLT required.

- Strong classroom management.

- Good use of classroom support staff, where applicable.

- Enhanced DBS on the update service.
