The successful New Product Introduction Engineer involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless transition of products from development to production, maintaining the highest standards of quality and reliability.
Product Development: Collaborate with R&D, Product Management and manufacturing teams to develop and introduce new gas sensors and safety instruments.
Project Management: Lead NPI projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance product quality and manufacturing efficiency, including PFMEA's
Testing and Validation: Oversee the testing and validation of new products to ensure they meet all regulatory and performance standards.
Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed documentation for all stages of product development and introduction.
To be successful in this role of New Product Introduction Engineer we would love to speak to anyone who has experience of:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Electronics, Mechanical, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in NPI, preferably within the gas sensor or safety instrument industry.
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of gas sensor technologies and safety instruments. Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools.
Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with strong organizational and time management skills.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
