My client is looking to recruit an internal sales representative with experience with experience within the engineering industry. Working in internal Sales you are responsible for providing a first class customer service experience to new client prospects, as well as existing customers. You will be assisting customers with technical advice, and dealing and understanding customer issues.

You must be an enthusiastic and ambitious individual who has the ability to communicate professionally both in verbal and written aspects. You’ll be a team player that has the ability to multi task, organise and able to prioritise workloads in a fast paced environment.

The role

* Efficiently handle customer queries through various communication channels such as telephone, website, email and live chat.

* Process incoming customer orders and enquiries

* Utilise upselling techniques to promote related products and maximise sales opportunities.

* Offer technical support and identify products which meet customers’ specific requirements.

* Actively update and maintain customer details in the CRM system

* Prepare quotations

* Consistently meet team KPI targets for customer calls, order processing and customer satisfaction

* Manage key accounts, nurture repeat business and actively acquire new customers

Experience

Have experience working within an engineering environment. An ex-engineer would be considered for this role.

Experience working within a fast paced sales environment/office.

Engineering or related technical qualifications would be advantageous but not essential
