The Role: Senior Clinical Negligence Solicitor

Working Arrangements: Hybrid

Location: Leeds

Salary: £30,000 to £50,000

Award-winning North Leeds Firm seeks a Solicitor/Fee Earner with experience in dealing with Claimant Clinical Negligence matters.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly driven and motivated candidate to be involved with the expansion of our clients Clinical Negligence department.

Key Tasks

* Handling a variety of clinical negligence claims from inception to settlement, including both pre and post-litigation claims.

Essential Knowledge

* Litigation experience is essential to this role

* Excellent understanding of CPR Rules and The Pre-Action Protocol for the Resolution of Clinical Disputes

* Experience in handling a variety of complex clinical negligence claims from inception to completion.

* Excellent negotiating skills

* Experience of working to targets and KPIs

Desirable Knowledge

* Experience using Proclaim database is preferable

* Training junior staff members in handling clinical negligence claims

* Working with marketing to expand the department

Experience

* 5 years + experience in handling Claimant Clinical Negligence claims is essential.
