The Role

Join our established procurement team, playing a vital role in shaping our procurement strategy and New Product Introduction (NPI). This position offers you the chance to collaborate across departments to achieve seamless procurement outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

* Supplier Management: Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality raw materials and components, with a focus on negotiating contracts

* Risk Mitigation: Proactively address material price fluctuations and minimise risks related to shortages

* Cost Efficiency: Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities

* Contract Negotiation: Manage and negotiate contract terms, including pricing

* Supplier Sourcing: Identify and onboard new suppliers as needed

* Project Management: Take ownership of procurement-related projects

About You

* MCIPS or CIPS level 4 qualified

* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role within manufacturing or automotive industries, with UK based experience

* Previous experience in sourcing materials such as Cast Iron, Aluminium Die Cast, PCB’s, Control knobs, cardboard and packaging

* Strong verbal and written communication abilities
