CNC Turner (Setter Operator)

Day Shift: 5 Days a Week, No Weekends + Early Finish Friday

Night Shift: Monday to Thursday, No Weekends

CNC Turner required for precision engineering manufacturer who are going through a large period of growth which can offer continuous training and career development opportunities to the successful candidate!!

The role will be suited to CNC Turners or general CNC Machinists with turning/lathe experience. You will be a confident setter operator, ideally with experience of Fanuc control systems, although any transferable experience will be considered, training will also be provided in these areas as required. Any candidate must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings competently.

The role will involve setting up, operating and programming CNC machines where able. You will work to tight tolerances and produce first offs for inspection before large batches can be produced. Working within a manufacturing cell you will receive on the job technical training on various Fanuc and have technical training on CNC programming.

The Role:
*CNC Turner for precision engineered parts
*Operating, Setting and Programming of Machines
*Basic Machine Maintenance
*Experience using inspection equipment (Verniers, micrometers, SPG’s and PPG’s) desired but not essential

The Person:
*Must be an experienced CNC Turner or a general CNC Machinist with Turning experience
*Will ideally have experience in a fast-paced machine shop
*Will ideally want to progress their career and advance their skills
*Prior experience in, machine programming advantageous but non-essential.
*Knowledge or experience of Fanuc Control Systems desired but not essential
