Job title: Mobile Semi-Skilled Fabric Engineer (Plumbing Bias)
Location: North London Portfolio
Terms: Permanent contract, Monday to Friday (08:00am - 05:00pm)
Salary/rate: Salary is paying £28,000 - £32,000 PA depending on qualifications and experience + Van & Fuel Card.

About the role:
We are looking to take on board a semi-skilled engineer looking who's willing to progress and grow within the company. The successful candidate must hold an NVQ in plumbing studies or mechanical engineering and has experience working in a maintenance environment. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has just completed their City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2 or 3 in plumbing/mechanical engineering and is looking to progress their career in the facilities maintenance industry.

Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for maintenance on the following:
* Ensure that routine PPM is carried out to all plant in accordance with Site task schedules and asset lists.
* Ensure that reactive tasks throughout the sites are completed and be proactive in highlighting areas where improvements can be made.
* Ensure that plant faults and defects are swiftly remedied to always maintain plant in serviceable order.
* Ensure that suitable spares are available to carry out both maintenance and reactive works. To provide parts lists and estimated timescales to carry out remedial works.
* Ensure that all relevant paperwork is completed regarding PPM, reactive and breakdown works and that it is passed without delay to the contract Administrator
* Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are prepared and used for all tasks undertaken to always ensure safe working practices.
