Role: 3rd Line IT Technician
Location: Preston
Salary: £45,000

My client looking for a versatile IT professional who is comfortable handling a wide range of support tasks, from 1st to 3rd line.

Key Responsibilities:
* Server Builds & Migrations: Manage and execute server installations and migrations.
* Networking Duties: Perform networking tasks, including LAN/VLAN setup and management.
* Network Infrastructure Management: Set up and maintain network components such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
* System Installation & Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and software applications.
* Support Tickets & Requests: Respond to IT support tickets and service requests, ensuring timely resolution.
* Routine Maintenance: Conduct regular system updates, backups, and apply security patches.
* Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues promptly to minimise downtime.
* User Account Management: Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in line with company policies.

Experience in:
3rd Line Support, Networking, Windows Server, Server Builds & Migrations, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN , VLAN.
