We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our community of tech experts in DWP Digital.

What skills, knowledge and experience will you need?

Setting the direction of the product, rallying the team, owning the vision and roadmap of the product and be that trusted voice
Know how to put users first as part of a commitment to user-centred design and know how to achieve this amongst competing priorities including achieving value for the business
Experience making decisions in a time sensitive situation
Experience of applying influence and challenging the status quo so you can meet your vision
Have experience of mentoring and coaching product people and teams to deliver highly quality products and services
Experience of agile methodology, when to use it and when to not and how you move through the agile lifecycle.

You and your role

As a Senior Product Manager, you will be at the forefront of designing, building and managing innovative products, as part of our Health & Disability team, that connect millions of UK citizens with essential DWP services, helping some of the most vulnerable in our society to find the financial support they need. You will own the product road map, develop the product strategy and lead a product team to success.

Location: You'll join us in one of our brilliant digital hubs in Birmingham, Blackpool, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle-upon-Tyne and Sheffield, whichever is most convenient for you.

Hybrid Working: We work a hybrid model - you'll spend some time working at home and some time collaborating face to face in a hub.

Pay: We offer competitive pay of up to £77,740.

Pension: You'll get a brilliant civil service pension with employer contributions worth 28.97%, worth up to £X per year.

Holidays: A generous leave package starting at 26 days rising to 31 days over time.

You can also take up to 3 extra days off a month on flexi-time. You'll also get all the usual public holidays.
