Site Supervisor – Brickwork

£250 - £350 p/day

A highly sought-after opportunity to work with a well-established brickwork company based out of Enfield who have been established for over 35 years. Due to the amount of work recently won and new projects being taken on, my client has never been busier and they have identified the need for a new Site Supervisor.

This is a two year fixed term contract and the successful candidate will be working on a £10M brickwork package on multiple residential tower blocks based out of Abbey Wood.

This Project is due to start in October 2024 and will run between 80 to 90 weeks and the successful candidate will have a team including supervisors and chargehands working underneath them

The Duties

* Inducting new operatives on site.

* Monitoring and reporting on progress to site engineer.

* Maintaining site records including mandatory site inspection, tool inspections, welfare inspections, etc.

* Maintaining site compounds and signage.

* Reviewing method statement and risk assessments.

* Issue of daily permits and signing off.

* Liaising with the University to co-ordinate site works on the campus.

* Organising and co-ordinating site deliveries.

* Inspecting sub-contractors works including civils and brick work and completing Quality check sheets.

* Inspecting temporary works.

The Requirements

* CSCS Skill Card in Brick Work on a construction related trade.

* SMSTS.

* Previous experience within a Supervisor role on civil and brickwork packages.

* IT literate
