Lab Technicians

Lab Technicians urgently required for a leading manufacturing company in Wokingham. We require production workers who can perform basic laboratory tasks as per health standards.

Straight starts available.

Shift Pattern: Variety of shift Patterns: Working hours- 9AM-5PM

Tuesday - Saturday(36 Hours)
Sunday - Thursday (36 Hours)
Friday - Monday (28.8 Hours)
Saturday - Sunday (14.4 hour) - weekend shiftPat Rate: £12.50 - £14 per hour

Location : Wokingham, RG41

Responsibilities:

Perform a range of basic routine analysis, product manufacturing and sample preparation under supervision of a senior member of staff
Perform laboratory tasks following specified methodologies, such as Standard Operating Procedures
Use of specified instrumentation and laboratory equipment, including calibration where required
Produce reliable, accurate data and keep accurate records of laboratory work undertaken and results
Be competent in the use of generic and specific software packages required for the role: Laboratory's LIMS system, Q-Pulse, etc
Meticulous attention to detail and an ability to follow written instructions
Able to perform repetitive work to high standards in high throughput environment
Flexible and adaptable in a workplace and enjoys the challenge to adapt to different teams and working environments
