An Underwriter Team Lead role is now available for an individual with a strong background in Risk, Compliance, KYC, Underwriting, or Payments. Experience within the Fintech, Payments, or Technology & Telecoms industry would be beneficial. The successful candidate will have a unique opportunity to lead and strengthen a dedicated underwriting team in our London office.

Description

Lead and develop the underwriting team.
Assess and make decisions on risk proposals.
Ensure adherence to risk and compliance policies.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve underwriting processes.
Provide expert advice on risk assessment and underwriting.
Oversee the preparation of risk and compliance reports.
Drive team towards meeting or exceeding company targets.
Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.Profile

A successful Underwriter Team Lead should have:

Proven leadership skills in underwriting or a similar field.
Sound understanding of Underwriting, KYC, or Payments.
Exceptional decision-making abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in collaborating with a wide range of internal stakeholders.
