Payroll Team Leader (8-Month FTC)
Start: ASAP | Location: London (Hybrid) | Duration: 8 months |
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000

JGA are partnering with a leading luxury  retail organisation seeking a Payroll Team Leader to join on an 8-month fixed-term contract.

This role supports business-as-usual payroll operations during a major ERP transition from, with integrations involving Resourcelink (Payroll) and Workday (HR).

NB: Unfortunately on this occasion our client requires a candidate with Resourcelink experience, and cannot consider payroll progressions without recent exposure to the system. 

Key Responsibilities

Lead the daily workload of the payroll team to ensure accurate, timely payroll delivery
Resolve complex payroll queries and ensure compliance with UK legislation (e.g. PAYE, RTI, NMW, pensions)
Supervise, mentor, and support a team of payroll professionals
Assist with audits, year-end processes, and reconciliations
Identify and resolve system issues (Resourcelink), and support testing of new system functionality
Act as a key contact for internal stakeholders and external providers About You

Experience leading or supervising a payroll team in a fast-paced environment
Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and statutory obligations
Proficient in payroll systems (Resourcelink preferred) and familiar with HR platforms such as Workday
Strong communication and organisational skills
CIPP qualification desirable but not essential
Experience with ERP or payroll system transitions is an advantage Interested?
