The Best Connection are recruiting a number of Night Shift Warehouse Operatives for our parcel delivery client based in Howden.

The role will involve the safe and efficient movement of parcels in the depot. You will be required to unload, scan, sort and load parcels, ensuring that their journey through the network is safe and swift.

Some of the parcels you will be handling are large/heavy items, weighing up to 25kg. This is a physically demanding job so you must be able to lift, load and carry to be able to perform your duties.

Requirements

* Ability to work under pressure

* Strong attention to detail

* Flexibility to work extra hours when needed

* Flexibility and adaptability to work across various areas of the warehouse

* Ability to lift load and carry

* Knowledge of Health and Safety practices within a warehouse environment would be advantageous

Hours & Pay

* Flexibility to work between 01.30am and 09.30am is essential

* £11.44 per hour

* Working 5-6 shifts per week across Monday to Sunday

Candidates will go through strict vetting including a criminal record check.

This is a temporary role until January 2025, however there’s a possibility of the assignment being extended for the right candidates
