Year 1 - £40,000

Year 2 - £60,000

Office Based – Preston (Fulwood Central)

Job Summary:

As a Recruitment Consultant working on NHS roles, you will be responsible for managing the entire recruitment process, from candidate sourcing to placement. You will work closely with NHS trusts and departments to understand their staffing needs and deliver high-quality candidates who meet the essential criteria for each role. This is a dynamic and rewarding role where you can make a significant impact on the healthcare sector by helping to ensure that the NHS has the skilled professionals it needs.

Key Responsibilities:

* Candidate Sourcing: Identify, attract, and engage with candidates for a variety of NHS roles, including clinical, administrative, and support positions.

* Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with NHS clients, understanding their specific recruitment needs and providing tailored staffing solutions.

* Screening and Interviewing: Conduct thorough screening and interviews to assess candidates’ qualifications, experience, and suitability for NHS roles.

* Job Advertising: Create and post job advertisements on relevant platforms, including job boards, social media, and industry-specific sites, to attract a wide pool of candidates.

* Candidate Management: Manage the candidate journey from initial contact through to job offer and placement, ensuring a positive experience for all applicants.

* Compliance: Ensure that all candidates meet the necessary compliance requirements, including right to work, DBS checks, and relevant qualifications.

* Database Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate and client interactions within the company’s recruitment software.

* Market Knowledge: Stay informed about trends in the NHS and healthcare recruitment sector, advising clients on market conditions and salary benchmarks.

* Business Development: Identify opportunities to grow the business by securing new NHS clients and expanding relationships with existing clients.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

* Experience: Proven experience as a Recruitment Consultant, ideally with a focus on the NHS or healthcare sector.

* Knowledge: Strong understanding of NHS recruitment processes, compliance requirements, and the specific needs of healthcare clients
