Are you passionate about food and enjoy working in a dynamic environment? We're looking for a dedicated Catering Assistant to join the team at a thriving secondary school in the DN14 area, starting in December.

Position: Catering Assistant

Location: Secondary School, DN14 Area
Start Date: December 2024
Hours: Full-time (Monday to Friday)

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting in the preparation and serving of meals to students and staff
Maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment
Supporting the catering team with stock management and replenishment
Ensuring food safety standards are met at all times
Helping to set up and clear down after meal services

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience in catering or a similar role is preferred, but not essential
A friendly, approachable attitude and the ability to work as part of a team
Excellent time management skills and a strong work ethic
Knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety regulations (desirable but training can be provided)
