Electronics Design Engineer / Electronics Engineer / Design Engineer required for a world leading laser manufacturer based in Glasgow.

The successful Analogue Design Engineer / Electronics Design Engineer / Electronics Engineer / Design Engineer will have a minimum of 3 years’ hands on experience in a similar electronics product design environment, focussed on ANALOGUE DESIGN.

Analogue Design Engineer / Electronics Design Engineer / Electronics Engineer / Design Engineer Role

Developing and designing ANALOGUE electronics products with focus on the design of test equipment, fixtures and software
Working with a multidisciplinary team using skills in electronics and software
Designing electronic circuits and assemblies through the full life cycle
Debugging electronic and system designs
Testing of products
Creating technical documentation
Liaising with manufacturing teams in both the UK and US.

Analogue Design Engineer / Electronics Design Engineer / Electronics Engineer / Design Engineer Requirements

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an electronics product design environment
Experience with various microcontrollers
Knowledge, understand and hands on experience with mainly analogue design.
Understanding of product design from spec with consideration of DFT and DFM
EMC knowledge and experience
FPGAs using Verilog
Good understanding of test automation tools e.g. LabView
Commutable to Glasgow
