Private Client Lawyer – Reputable Law Firm – Near Brighton

A well-established and highly regarded law firm near Brighton is seeking a skilled Private Client Lawyer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a legal professional with experience in private client matters to take the next step in their career within a supportive and reputable practice.

The Role: The successful Private Client Lawyer will manage a varied caseload of private client matters, including but not limited to:

Drafting Wills and advising on estate planning

Preparing and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)

Handling probate and the administration of estates

Providing guidance on trusts and inheritance tax planning

Advising clients on Court of Protection matters

This role sits within a large, well-established, and supportive private client team that has a strong reputation for excellence. The team works collaboratively, providing expert guidance to clients while fostering a culture of professional development and career growth.

Candidate Requirements: The firm is open to considering candidates of all levels, ideally seeking a qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive. However, experienced Paralegals or those with relevant fee-earning experience will also be considered. The ideal candidate will:

Have at least 1 year of post-qualification experience (PQE) in private client law (although candidates with less experience but strong technical knowledge will be considered)

Be technically competent in handling a broad range of private client matters

Have excellent client care skills and the ability to build strong relationships

Be proactive and able to work both independently and as part of a team
