Job Description: Field Technician (Contract)

We are seeking a Field Technician to join our team. Candidates must have experience operating 360 excavators, a valid driver’s license, and access to their own vehicle. This hands-on role involves the inspection, repair, and maintenance of assets, with a focus on ground and civil works.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate 360 excavators and other equipment safely and efficiently.
Perform inspections, repairs, and maintenance of assets to high standards.
Conduct tasks including meter installation, tank cleaning, pipework modification, and general site maintenance.
Collaborate with the scheduling team to optimize productivity and ensure task completion.
Maintain flexibility across a variety of tasks, including operational incidents and participation in an on-call rota.
Ensure compliance with health and safety, environmental, and contractual guidelines.

Requirements:

Essential: Experience with 360 excavators and dumpers.
Valid driver’s license and access to a car.
Physically fit and willing to perform hands-on tasks.
Knowledge of health and safety practices and the ability to follow risk assessments.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Willingness to travel nationwide and stay overnight for training when needed.
Self-motivated and flexible, with problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience:

Background in civil works, plumbing, or similar fields.
Exposure to water/sewage asset maintenance or O&M activities.
