About the role:
As a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant, you’ll be working closely with teachers to support pupils’ learning and development. This role focuses on boosters and interventions, helping pupils who need additional support to reach their potential. You’ll also work with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), providing tailored assistance to help them thrive in the classroom. This part-time, ongoing position is ideal for someone passionate about education and looking for a rewarding role in a dynamic school setting.
Application Requirements:
• Has experience working with Key Stage 2 pupils.
• Is confident supporting children with SEN.
• Can deliver boosters and interventions effectively.
• Is enthusiastic, patient, and adaptable.
• Holds relevant qualifications or has substantial experience in a similar role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in delivering targeted interventions to Key Stage 2 pupils.
• Provide one-to-one or small group support for children with SEN.
• Collaborate with teachers to plan and deliver engaging lessons.
• Monitor and report on pupils’ progress.
• Help create a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
