Service Charge Accountant. OUR CLIENT are a specialist UK wide property investment and development company. They offer a stable and flexible working environment which has resulted in them having very loyal employees.

THE ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES for the Service Charge Accountant will include:

Service charge accounts duties:

Preparing year-end service charge accounts for an allocated portfolio.
Performing service charge reconciliations.
Working with the Property / Asset Managers to upload service charge budgets.
Reconciling balancing charges.
Liaising with Accounts Receivable team to issue balancing charges to tenants.
Responsible for sending out the budget reports.

Purchase ledger duties:

Coding, batching and processing purchase ledger invoices.
Preparing payment runs.
Ensuring the invoices have been authorised before payment.

THE PERSON and SKILLS REQUIREMENTS for the Service Charge Accountant will have:

Ideally for AAT qualified, studier but will consider someone QBE.
Experience of a property management system will be helpful.
Must have Excel experience.
Ability to do both service charge accounts and purchase ledger work.
Strong communication skills.
