Jackson Hogg is supporting a rapidly growing pharmaceutical company based in Newcastle and looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join a small and dynamic team overseeing the entire logistics and supply chain.

This Logistics Coordinator will be a vital part of the team focused on the storage, transportation on-time delivery and efficient flow of goods. This is an intricate role, dealing with multiple stakeholders both internal and external.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop the logistics strategy including transport, warehouse and distribution using third-party suppliers

* Manage relationships with carriers and team members to coordinate inbound and outbound goods flow

* Oversee inventory management and accurately record stock levels for suppliers

* Develop strategies to reduce cost and improve efficiency

* Any other reasonable duties

Key Behaviours:

* Excellent communication skills in dealing with a range of stakeholders

* An awareness of the Falsified Medicines Directive (FMD)

* Strong team work ethic with the ability to plan your day and own workload

* Experience of a minimum of 3 years in a logistics environment

* A full clean driving license is required
