Production Operative

39 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 06:00 – 16:15

Industrious are currently looking for production operatives to join our clients precision engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a background in manufacturing, although this is not mandatory.

Job Responsibilities

* Operate production machinery, tools or equipment to ensure smooth manufacturing or assembly processes.

* Perform quality checks with inspection equipment, highlighting any issues to the supervisor.

* Follow safety procedures, to ensure a safe working environment at all times.

* Report any faults or issues with equipment to the supervisor.

* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production area.

* Prepare any documentation such as inspection records and job sheets.

Skills and Competencies

* Ability to follow instructions and work independently.

* Good team player with a positive attitude to workload and comfortable working to schedules.

* Excellent attention to detail, and dexterity for accurate performance of repetitive tasks.

* Reliable and flexible, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
