Salary: £45-55,000pa + 25% bonus

Job Description
This role is key to ensuring the efficient and compliant delivery of payroll services across multiple European countries, operating within an outsourced payroll model. The successful candidate will be a seasoned payroll professional with experience in payroll governance, compliance, and vendor management.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and oversee payroll operations across multiple European jurisdictions including UK, working closely with the outsourced payroll vendor to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
Act as the primary point of contact for the outsourced payroll provider, ensuring service delivery aligns with contractual agreements and company standards. Address escalations, monitor SLAs, and manage vendor performance.
Monitor vendor performance, attend regular service reviews, and address escalations or issues promptly.
Collaborate with the vendor on system updates, process improvements, and compliance with local payroll regulations.
Ensure payroll process is compliant with company policies and maintain robust controls.
Stay updated on legislative changes that may impact payroll processes
Review payroll reports, ensuring data accuracy and providing insights to stakeholders. Support internal and external audits by ensuring payroll records are maintained to a high standard.
Work closely with HR, Finance, and other internal teams to manage payroll-related queries, benefits administration, and employee data integrity across all regions.
Work with regional and local stakeholders to address jurisdiction-specific requirements and changes that may impact payroll delivery.
Key Requirements:
Proven track record in payroll (desirable international payroll experience), with specific experience in an outsourced payroll model. Financial services experience is an advantage.
Proficiency with payroll software and reporting tools is essential.
Demonstrated expertise in payroll governance, risk management, and maintaining compliance with local and international standards.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage vendor relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Relevant payroll qualifications (e.g., CIPP or equivalent) are preferred.
Fluency in English is required. Additional European languages are a plus.
