The Assistant Project Manager Role

As an Assistant Project Manager, you'll be joining a dynamic and fast-growing company with three strategic offices and a strong team of Project Managers based in Birmingham. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the company's impressive growth journey.

With a projected turnover of £2 million this year and plans to increase to £2.85 million next year, the firm is on an ambitious path to expand its group turnover from £8 million to £20 million over the next four years. The consultancy has a robust pipeline of projects, offering experience across a diverse range of sectors including industrial, offices, education, build-to-rent, student accommodation, biodiversity, ecclesiastical, listed buildings, public projects, and automotive. Project values range from £300k to £60m, with a standout scheme exceeding £400m.

The Assistant Project Manager

The ideal Assistant Project Manager will thrive in a welcoming and energetic environment, be motivated to work independently within a flexible company, and be passionate about contributing to the long-term growth of this client account.

You will also possess:

The desire to work towards MRICS, MCIOB, or MAPM qualifications, or similar.
A BSc or MSc in a Construction-related field.
Have previous experience supporting Project Managers in a UK Consultancy, with a demonstrated understanding of project management principles.
Show a successful track record of assisting in managing projects through various stages, ideally from inception to completion across different RIBA stages.In Return?
