I am thrilled to announce a unique and exciting opportunity to join the Civil Works Alliance (CWA) in our mission to support the construction of Sizewell C. Sizewell C is set to become a 3.2-gigawatt power station generating low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes. This project plays a vital role in our energy future, providing reliable and clean electricity for at least 60 years.

Position: Agent Location: Suffolk office with regular site visits required

About the Role: As an Agent at CWA, you will be at the heart of our ambitious Sizewell C project. Your role will involve providing management, leadership, and control over a multidisciplinary team, ensuring seamless collaboration among Sub Agents, Section Engineers, Site Engineers, and Foremen. You will lead with a relentless focus on health and safety, motivate your section team, and oversee performance management.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a multi-disciplinary team ensuring effective performance and development.

Implement and monitor health, safety, and environmental practices, participating in periodic safety tours.

Ensure engineering control, quality, and productivity standards are met through targeted KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives.

Engage with stakeholders including UK Government, relevant departments, regulators, and local communities, contributing to the overall success of the Sizewell C project.

What We Are Looking For:

Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to motivate and manage a team.

In-depth understanding of H&S legislation, engineering principles, and construction processes.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to influence and guide others effectively.

Experience in the utilities or construction industry, preferably with a HNC/HND/Degree in an engineering discipline.

Essential Qualifications:

Current driving license and CSCS Card.

SMSTS qualified.
