Opus People Solutions are seeking a Senior Support Worker near Royston.

Your role as a Senior Support Worker will be to motivate and coach a team of support workers within a residential service for young adults with disabilities, including severe learning difficulties and complex health needs. This is a fantastic chance to excel your career, with plenty of opportunity to progress.

Day-to-day, you will:

Support with inducting new members of staff and their ongoing training and development
Ensuring day-to-day tasks are effectively delegated & individual's plans are carried out effectively.
Support team leaders and managers with motivating and coaching staff
Provide care, emotionally and physically to the young adults in residence.What are we looking for?

Strong experience in a similar role as a support worker/carer, ideally working with individuals with disabilities and complex health needs.
Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification (desirable, to be at the top end of the salary bracket, you will have this)
Excellent communication skills
Demonstrate high organisational skills & a patient, empathetic nature. Benefits:
