Are you an experienced Principal Flood Project Officer looking for your next challenge?
Our client is seeking an experienced Principal Flood Project Officer to join them on a Permanent Contract.
Key Responsibilities:
·Undertake statutory LLFA functions for the authority including emergency response.
·Lead technical flood management professional for the Council on Project Sponge, and providing support to, and where appropriate deputising for, the Project Lead across the project.
·To coordinate the LLFA's role as a statutory consultee to the planning department; developing long term policy and procedures for the assessment and adoption of SUDS ensuring the LLFA provides technical advice in a timely and accurate fashion to allow planning applications to be determined and in accordance with Government targets. This will also include procuring and managing technical flood consultancy support for major schemes.
·Provide the Client with strategic technical flood management expertise to support the delivery of Project Sponge and other water management projects and opportunities.
