Working in East Grinstead as part of a supportive team, and earning up to£23,400 pa, you'll assist and support service users in their home and local community. Role includes:
Supporting service users in their care plan, as well as with everyday domestic activities and leisure, fitness, learning and employment activities.
Encouraging and supporting service users to learn and develop new skills and to nurture positive relationships.
Completing service user support notes at the end of each shift.
Based in the East Grinstead area, you'll have experience as a temp or perm support worker, willing to take on flexible working, and happy to work alone or in a team. You'll be respectful of confidentiality issues and diligent in reporting to your line manager and undertaking training, where necessary.
Your skills:
You'll have experience in community services or as support staff.
You'll be calm, positive, sensitive and empathetic to individual needs.
You'll be a great communicator and work to establish positive relationships with service users, their families and other healthcare professionals.
Due to location and restricted public transport you must be a driver and have access to a vehicle.
