Are you passionate about education and making a positive difference in children’s lives? Teaching Personnel is delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Formby, working across Year 5 and Year 6.
About the Role:
Start date: 24th February 2025
Contract type: Initially temporary, with the potential to become permanent.
Responsibilities:
Provide tailored support to pupils in Year 5 and Year 6, helping them thrive academically and emotionally.
Work closely with class teachers to implement effective learning strategies.
Assist with group work, 1:1 interventions, and classroom activities.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
About You:
We are looking for someone who:
Is enthusiastic, patient, and dedicated to supporting children’s learning and development.
Has experience working with primary school-aged children, ideally in KS2.
Is confident supporting children with varying abilities and needs.
Holds a Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent), or has relevant experience.
Has a DBS on the Update Service or is willing to apply for one.
