Cover Supervisors Required in Burton-upon-Trent

Location: Burton-upon-Trent
Pay: £75 - £90 per day (dependent on experience)
Roles: Short-Term, Long-Term, and Day-to-Day

About the Role:

The Supply Register is recruiting Cover Supervisors and Cover Teachers for schools in Burton-upon-Trent, in partnership with John Taylor Multi-Academy Trust. This is a great opportunity to gain classroom experience, particularly if you're considering a teaching career. We are looking for flexible, motivated Cover Supervisors and Cover Teachers for various assignments across multiple schools.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise Classes: Manage and engage students in the absence of their regular teacher.
Deliver Lessons: Follow lesson plans as a Cover Teacher, ensuring students complete their work.
Behavior Management: Implement school policies and manage classroom behavior.
Support Learning: Assist students as needed and ensure they stay on task.
Administrative Duties: Record attendance and report any issues to the school office.

Requirements:

Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one).
Experience with Children and strong classroom management skills.
Good Communication Skills and the ability to adapt to different subject areas.
Interest in Teaching is desirable.
