Morgan McKinley, Northern Home Counties is proud to be supporting a 12 month Fixed Term Contract, with a business in Northamptonshire. They are seeking an experienced and hands on Management Accountant who can take real ownership of the workload.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Take overall ownership of producing month end management accounts & departmental P&L's.
Monitor KPI's, highlighting trends and analysing causes of unexpected variances and making recommendations for improvement
Ownership of the balance sheet reconciliation. Ensuring that all accounts are reconciled on a monthly basis
Provide monthly reporting
Hold Monthly Meetings to support the accounts, to discuss their performance.
Assistant with the production of annual budgets and supporting analytical analysis

Person Specification

Part Qualified CIMA or ACCA or AAT Qualified
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Strong excel skills
Self-motivated, flexible can-do attitude works well under pressure, on own initiative and in a team environment
Ability to prioritise workload and keep to strict deadline
Excellent attention to detail
