As a Business Development Executive your responsibilities will include:
• Reporting to the Sales Manager & working in the team to book appointments
• Supporting the sales team in achieving and exceeding sales targets
• Building, nurturing and maintain relationships with customers
• Outbound prospecting & building a sales pipeline (email, phone, social media)
• Building strong relationships with leading UK retailers, manufacturers, and charities.
• Proactively calling cold and warm prospects operating across all sectors & following up
• Reaching out to new contacts and developing an understanding of their needs
We are looking for a Business Development Executive with the following skills and experience:
• Ideally 2 years’ experience in a sales/business development position
• Experience in the energy sector is highly preferred
• Strong communication, relationship & rapport building skills
• Positive, proactive and friendly personality, able to easily engage with others
• Self-motivated and interested in learning and sharing knowledge
• High attention to detail and able to create engaging emails
In return, the successful Business Development Executive will receive a salary of £25,000 to £30,000 plus benefits…
• Uncapped commission – up to £10k in the first year
