Resourcing Group are recruiting for a Maintenance Technician on a permanent basis to ensure the efficient upkeep and repair of student accommodation facilities in Filton, Bristol.

This role is ideal for someone with technical maintenance skills, strong problem-solving capabilities, and a customer-centric mindset.

The purpose of the Accommodation Maintenance Technician role is to ensure the efficient upkeep and repair of student accommodation facilities, both internally and externally, by performing a variety of maintenance tasks. This involves carrying out pre-planned and reactive repairs, resolving technical issues, and ensuring that buildings and their systems remain in optimal condition. The role also focuses on delivering high-quality maintenance services to clients, adhering to health and safety regulations, and maintaining the integrity of the accommodations. Ultimately, the technician plays a crucial part in enhancing the living experience of residents by ensuring a safe, functional, and well-maintained environment.

Core Tasks:

Maintenance of a wide range of accommodation assets, including joinery, tiling, drainage, flooring, plastering, and minor roof repairs etc.
Working on both pre-planned and reactive repairs.
Ensuring high-quality services for clients and adhering to timescales and standards.
Solving technical issues and working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
Maintaining compliance with health and safety standards and documenting all tasks accurately.

Requirements:

Essential:

Proven customer service experience.
Understanding of maintenance within facilities management or construction.
Good communication skills with a variety of stakeholders. Desirable:

IOSH - Working safely or CSCS Card
IT Skills - in the use of PDA's
Asbestos awareness training (UKATA)
CSR/CSCS H&S qualification

Job Package:

Salary: £27,500

Holiday: 25 days

Benefits: Company mobile phones provided & Company Uniform
Working Hours: Monday - Friday 08:00 - 16:30. 30 minutes lunch break.
