As an early member of the HMP Millsike team, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our training and development programs from day one. You will design, develop, and deliver top-tier training for our prison colleagues ensuring they’re equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive under the latest Ofsted standards.

You’ll be working closely with the mobilisation team, ensuring HMP Millsike is ready to deliver on its groundbreaking promises. This is a full time, fixed term position until January 2026.

Interviews for this role will take place w/c 16th September.

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver Excellence: Lead high-quality training sessions for prison staff, ensuring they’re fully supported throughout their qualification journey.

* Coach & Mentor: Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to enhance the learning experience for your colleagues.

* Promote & Enroll: Actively promote our training programs within the prison, driving efficient enrolment.

* Quality Assurance: Maintain impeccable documentation for External Quality Assurance visits and manage processes to meet awarding organisation criteria.

* Safeguarding & Inclusion: Embed E&D, Safeguarding, Prevent, and British Values throughout the training journey.

What We’re Looking For:

Essential:

* Qualifications: Level 5 Teaching Qualification, Level 2 in Maths and English, Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Education, and Level 4 Certificate in Leading the IQA of Assessment Processes and Practice.

* Skills: Strong communication, time management, adaptability, and a commitment to safeguarding and equality.

* Experience: A background in coaching and mentoring, working with external awarding organisations, curriculum development, and continuous improvement.

Desirable:

* Experience: Mobilising new contracts or building departments from the ground up.

If you’re ready to embrace this exciting challenge and play a key role in the success of HMP Millsike’s training programs, apply now!
