Key Responsibilities

* Assist the Executive Chef and Sous Chef in managing the kitchen's daily operations.

* Prepare and cook meals to a high standard as stated in the hotel's menu, ensuring guest satisfaction.

* Demonstrate expertise and creativity in designing and preparing dishes, utilizing fresh and seasonal ingredients.

* Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.

* Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a culture of learning and excellence.

* Manage inventory and order supplies, ensuring the freshness of ingredients and efficient use of resources.

* Conduct quality checks on ingredients and prepared dishes to ensure consistency and culinary standards are met.

* Work with the culinary team to constantly improve and update menus while keeping up with culinary trends.

* Collaborate with the restaurant and hospitality staff to ensure seamless service delivery.

Qualifications

* Proven experience in a professional kitchen.

* Strong understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
