Our client is seeking a Head of Process to lead the technical operations team, manage high-value projects, and oversee all aspects of process system design and delivery.

This role involves ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 standards, supervising engineers, and driving continuous improvement within the department.

Key Responsibilities:

Leading the production and validation of process system designs, including PFDs, P&IDs, and technical specifications
Overseeing large-scale projects (£5m+), ensuring timely delivery and budget control
Managing departmental resources, schedules, and training plans to optimise performance
Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and company processes, delivering quality outputs
Driving cost reduction, value engineering, and risk management strategies
Providing technical support to project and bid teams
Identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and capability Requirements:

Degree in Chemical Engineering (BEng Hons)
Extensive experience in process system design and delivery
Strong knowledge of process industries and applicable standards
Proven experience managing engineering teams on complex projects valued at £5m+
Understanding of control systems and effective change management
