Salary: £86 - £108 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist SEND School in Bristol. This school is passionate about providing a high standard of care and education to a diverse range of pupils. This inclusive school offers a broad curriculum to inspire their young pupils to flourish into the best version of themselves, promoting growth and empowerment which as a Behaviour Support Assistant you will help to provide. They are a pupil referral unit so work on a short-term basis with pupils to try and re-engage them back into mainstream education or an appropriate SEMH learning setting.

TeacherActive is looking to take on caring and driven Behaviour Support Assistants on a long-term basis for full time work at this school. The successful applicants will be working across classes, working closely on a 1:1/2:1 basis with pupils with specific learning needs to support the class and teacher.

The successful Behavioural Learning Support Assistant will have:

A level 3 qualification in a relevant field OR relevant experience
Experience working with children in a special educational setting or pupil referral unit
Excellent 1:1 / 2:1 support skills specialised around behaviour management
