Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, an engineering company in their search for a Manual Machinist  to work at their facility in Widnes.

For the successful Manual Machinist, our client is offering:

£14 - £16 per hour (DOE)
Monday to Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm
Overtime paid at x1.5  x2 rates
Permanent Opportunity
20 days holiday plus Bank Holidays
Pension scheme
The role - Manual Machinist :

Operating conventional and manual machinery to manufacture, repair, and modify industrial rotary equipment
Setting and operating a Conventional / manual machinery
Machining various components
Tool changing
Reading and working from engineering drawings
Conducting quality inspections
What our client is looking for in a Manual Machinist

HNC/NVQ/City and Guilds in Engineering or equivalent BENEFICIAL
Previous experience in a similar role ESSENTIAL
Must be fully trained in the use of conventional / manual machines. ESSENTIAL 
Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
Experience in rotary equipment repairs i.e. gearboxes, pumps, fans, motors etc or fabrication BENEFICIAL
Key skills or similar Job titles: Manual Machinist, Manual Milling, Manual Turning, Tool Maker, Manual Miller, Manual Turner

Commutable From Widnes, Runcorn, Warrington, Liverpool, Ellesmere Port, Chester, St Helens, Northwich
