Nursery Practitioner - Newbury

The Role: We are seeking a Nursery Practitioner with a Level 3 Early Years Childcare qualification to work on a 1:1 basis with a child who requires support as outlined in their EHCP. Your role will involve engaging the child in play opportunities, encouraging progress in all areas of learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide tailored support to a child with specific needs.
Facilitate play and learning opportunities to promote development.
Contribute to a rich, diverse Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
Support children in a family-oriented, nurturing environment.Qualifications and Experience:

Level 3 qualification recognized by the Early Years’ Service.
Experience supporting children with cerebral palsy is beneficial.
Professional discretion and respect for confidentiality.
Effective communication with parents, carers, and professionals.
Ability to work as part of a team, reliable, punctual, patient, and caring.Hours:

2 days per week (Monday and Friday) from 8:00am – 5:30pm.
Term-time only, fixed term, linked to the child’s attendance.Salary:

£8,599 actual (£26,454 FTE).Contract Positions
