Position: Site Manager - Large Diameter Water Main & Reservoir Construction

Location: Luton

Rate: £350 per day (Ltd company basis)

Carmichael UK is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to oversee the installation of a large diameter water main and the construction of a reservoir as part of a major infrastructure project in Luton. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a key project in the utilities sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Take full responsibility for the on-site management and delivery of a large diameter water main installation and reservoir construction.

Ensure that the project is executed efficiently, safely, and within the allocated time frame and budget.

Manage day-to-day site operations, coordinating with subcontractors and internal teams to ensure smooth workflows.

Maintain high standards of health, safety, and compliance with relevant regulations.

Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders, providing updates and resolving issues as they arise.

Essential Requirements:

Proven experience in the installation of large diameter water mains and reservoir construction projects.

SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification, ensuring proficiency in safety management on-site.

Valid First Aid certification.

EUSR (Energy & Utility Skills Register) card to work on utility projects in the UK.

Experience in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems (preferred but not essential).
