Accounts and Tax Manager Job Overview

Financial Performance and Growth
Ensuring all client statutory accounts are prepared and submitted to an excellent level of quality, and are compliant with accounting standards
Ensuring tax returns to be fully compliant with legislations
Always looking for ways to improve processes and efficiency
Customers and people
Communicating with clients, ensuring fluent communication and excellent relationships
Ensuring internal deadlines are set for stuff, and are held accountable
Working with client managers to improve quality of client records
Operations and systems
Schedule client workflows based on prioritisation from client managers
Managing peak workflow periods to ensure seamless client experience

Accounts and Tax Manager Job Requirements

Must be ACA or ACCA qualified
Proven work experience in accounting/tax role within an accountancy practice
Experience in leadership and management
Displays integrity, excellence, interpersonal understanding, and is detail oriented
A customer-oriented approach, interpersonal skills and communication skills
Excellent knowledge of MS office
Able to commute into Central London office
No requirement for visa sponsorship
