About the role: As an EYFS Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing the EYFS curriculum for a mixed-age class. You will be supported by a strong teaching assistant and will work collaboratively with other teachers in the department. Your role will involve creating a nurturing, engaging, and stimulating environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and confidence in the children. The role requires a teacher with a deep understanding of the EYFS framework and a passion for providing young children with the best start to their educational journey.
Application Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).• Experience teaching in an EYFS setting (preferably).• Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and assessment framework.• Passion for teaching and supporting young children’s development.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the EYFS framework.• Monitor and assess children’s progress, identifying areas for development.• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where all children feel supported and valued.• Build strong relationships with parents and colleagues to ensure a cohesive and collaborative approach to learning.• Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development activities.
