Job Title: HR Assistant
Location: Bury
Contract Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 4 months
Working Pattern: Full Time
Salary: £13.69 - £14.91
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the HR team to carry out various HR and Payroll tasks
Process transactions, including creating positions in the HR/Payroll system
Manage employee transfers under TUPE
Produce variation of contract documents
Verify payroll accuracy
Assist with other processing work and mini projects during quieter periods
Follow established processes while using initiative to manage workload effectively
Adapt quickly to changing priorities and deliver high-quality work within deadlinesEssential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
Previous experience working in a similar HR environment
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing transactions
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic team
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Proactive approach with the ability to use own initiative
Flexibility and adaptability to changing prioritiesDesirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
Knowledge of HR and Payroll systems
Familiarity with TUPE regulations and processes
Experience in managing restructures
Excellent written and verbal communication skillsTechnologies:
Proficiency in HR/Payroll software
