We are working with an expanding Group company looking for a Management Accountant to deliver core management accounting duties. If you have an eye for detail, can work to and achieve key milestones, and can maintain strong business partnerships, this is for you.

You will be working as part of an established and busy team assisting with the delivery of accurate and timely financial information, whilst aiding into the development of a proactive culture and robust governance and control environment.

Your role:

* Production of monthly management accounts with an understanding of the key variances

* Review and complete balance sheet reconciliations

* Assist with stat account queries and support audit process when required

* Analyse and report on key payroll variances

* Provide support to Senior Management Team on payroll and banking processes

* Review and implement improvements to financial processes and controls

* Provide support to a Finance Assistant

* Provide any ad-hoc analysis or reports as required

Your background:

* Experience as a Management Accountant is key

* Part or Qualified - CIMA, ACCA, or ACA, or Qualified by Experience

* Proven experience carrying out similar duties

* Understanding of current UK HMRC financial regulations

* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)

* Able to work to tight deadlines and to communicate effectively at all levels

* Confident communication skills to build and maintain strong business partnerships

Your rewards:

* £38,000 - £45,000 depending on experience and qualifications
