Document Controller
our client is a specialist construction company within the build to rent sector. The group has a portfolio that spans the residential and commercial sectors, across both the for sale and rental markets. The Build to Rent division has just secured more success winning the prestigious What House Gold Award for best BtR development in the UK.
What you will do:
* Day-to-day management and quality control of Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) for the project(s)
* Have understanding of various stages of construction projects from Concept Design to Construction
* Being the point of contact for the project’s clients, consultants, contractors and internal management for project information
* Download of all formal and informal issues and distributing these internally to the teams and consultants
* Working with internal and external teams to understand their protocols and requirements and being their point of contact for all information exchange queries
* Prepare and maintain project record files
* Completing the final process of reviewing design / construction information, appending the relevant comments and submitting them back onto the project systems
* Manage and maintain other essential project forms such as RFIs, Correspondences, Site Submittals
* Arrange printing as required by project
* Minute Taking and Hard copy filing
* Assisting with management of the site offices, including health and safety compliance
* Site Administration including stationary orders and consumables ordering.
* Report compilation
* Delivery note scanning and uploading
What you will have:
* You will ideally have extensive experience of managing EDMS/CDE systems, preferably from the client side.
* Asite knowledge is preferred not essential.
* You will possess a methodical approach to work combined with an attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
* Essential knowledge of Microsoft Office.
What we will offer you:
* £35,000 - £40,000 subject to experience
* 33 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays)
