Our client, a family-owned award-winning contractor is going from strength to strength, having grown its turnover to over £100m. Specialising in groundwork, civil engineering & RC frames. As a long established, family-run business, they pride themselves on their loyal client base with repeat business time and again. From their head office in West London they have a strong coverage of projects both in and around the UK with package values ranging from £5 million to £30 million.

About the Opportunity

* The Planner will support the planning function, which involves creating and managing project schedules at a detailed level.

* Planning tender programmes to support bid proposals.

* Maintain and process information from different entities and coordinate in a controlled process.

* Work closely with senior management, project teams, design teams and sub-contractors to maintain accurate and up to date data for different stages of projects.

* Track and evaluate progress of live sites and the pre-construction phases

* Apply agreed planning standards and ensure they are adopted and embedded across the programme.

About the requirements

* Good understanding of the construction industry and processes, from the design stage through to completion of the projects

* Demonstrate the process of the information, coordination and presentation to others

* Proficient with Microsoft Office and similar products to report and maintain schedules.

* Proficient use with ASTA Powerproject

* Preferably a construction related education (BSc/MSc)

About the Benefits and Rewards

Salary range of £80,000 - £95,000 per annum.
